Our Client is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Senior SAP Analyst to be located in Denver, CO. This position is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity - no 3rd parties please.



This position is responsible for requirements definition, problem solving, user interfaces, configuration, testing, and application support of the SAP production planning modules. This position will have a part in the implementation of SAP to 43 locations globally. The lead analyst is responsible for supporting the manufacturing and planning systems through the full development life cycle including the interfaces to the legacy manufacturing business systems.



Qualifications:



BA/BS degree in business, engineering, or operations management with significant IT/IS coursework or training.

Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience implementing SAP manufacturing / production planning.

Experience configuring the production planning / manufacturing modules on at least two full-life-cycle SAP implementations.

Demonstrated experience implementing best business practices throughout the organization. Experience configuring systems in "make-to-stock", "make-to-order", and "engineer-to-order" environments.

Considered an expert on MRP. Experience in Sales & Operations Planning

Experience in Capacity Planning (rough-cut and detailed), Experience configuring production / process orders as well as order confirmations.

Experience configuring and executing material availability checks for production.

Understands integration requirements between Production Planning / Manufacturing, Sales Order Processing, Materials Management, and Quality Management modules of SAP.

Experience configuring or using these other modules a definite plus.

Breadth and depth with actual "hands-on" manufacturing experience.

Experience in co-product processing. Experience in characteristics planning a definite plus.

Experience in both continuous and discrete manufacturing environments. Experience with batch management / lot tracking.

Experience interfacing SAP to MES systems (xMII) Experience setting up BOM's, Routings, and Recipes.

Product Costing experience a definite plus.

Willingness to become certified Six Sigma Black Belt Provide SAP configuration expertise by working with the business process specialists and document the functional expertise and knowledge D

evelop master data standards and structure

Develop and document as-is/to-be business processes, configuration scripts, and other associated technical specifications from end user requirements Develop interface requirements Identify security requirements and validate the system roles and process controls

Assist in the facilitation of end user training and system documentation Interface with end users to ensure system functionality is effectively enabling business processes

Must be effective in meeting with users and management to define complex business requirements in sufficient detail to determine the appropriate SAP configuration or development required, or to document why the requirement cannot be satisfied by an SAP-based solution.

Develop the process scenarios and test scripts

Ability to work with others efficiently and effectively in an ad-hoc environment

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Travel up to 50%
