- Never once did I say I wanted to be with you.

- I am, in fact, pretty happy and you don't need to ensure it. I don't need you to help me realize what I'm worth. (Obviously, you didn't do wonders for my self-esteem, so I'm unclear as to how you might help in that regards.)





- In the time I've spent in "familiar places" I've done nothing but face down my demons. I am proud of that. I won't be here for long. We never discussed my goals. That doesn't mean I don't have any.





- I felt I pushed you away, but wanted you to know I still care. In every other way I have "moved on". The small effort I made was really an attempt to know that you're ok and ease my mind.
