QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in child development, human services, education related area or equivalent relevant experience.

Two years direct experience with children and families in crisis.

Experience in coordinating and providing children’s activities or in a child care setting. Experience with volunteers preferred. Computer proficiency in Windows environment and comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Children’s Service Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Brandon Center Children’s Program, including designing and implementing activities for children, ensuring adequate child care activity coverage while providing a safe, joyful and creative environment. In addition, this position works closely with program case managers and parents to develop short-term goals to meet family needs. The Children’s Service Coordinator is responsible for recruiting, training, supervising and scheduling all child care activity volunteers and over seeing the holiday activities for children in shelter.



HOURS: Tues thru Friday 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
