This position is responsible for Sales Engineering for cable operator customers. Region of coverage will be the US and Canada. Direct responsibilities will include day-to-day responsiveness to those sales entities tasked with selling to the cable market which may entail answering questions, preparing presentations and proposals, managing a lab or field trial application; providing written responses to customer RFPs, etc. Other tasks will include providing training seminars to potential clients; participating in tradeshow events; and monitoring deployments of Symmetricom cable products.



Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or similar discipline

• 5+ years working in a cable operator or with a vendor that markets to the cable operators

• Existing cable account contacts and references

• Must be technically proficient in CMTS/M-CMTS offerings and architecture

• Travel is required, up to 50%, may include some international
