Do You Have Asthma?

Do you currently have coughing or wheezing a few times a week?



You are being invited to participate in a study of steroids and asthma. This study is designed to help determine why steroids may not work in all patients treated for asthma.



Qualifications include:

· Ages 12 to 65 with a diagnosis of asthma

· Experiencing coughing or wheezing a few times a week

· Non-smokers and no COPD



Study participation involves:

• 3 visits to our research unit over 6 to 8 weeks

• Breathing tests (spirometry), a skin test, blood draws, and medication

• Qualified participants will receive compensation for their travel and time
