Description:
Bross Group is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join our clients Managed Security Service Team. Our client is a leading provider of managed networking solutions to a wide array of businesses and organizations in 75 markets spanning 30 states and D.C.
The Network Security Engineer is part of a small group who is expected to work closely together as a team. Issues will be escalated to this group who is then responsible for logging the ticket, diagnosing through the use of tools and systems and resolve.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and Surveillance of Firewalls (Knowledge and / or experience with Juniper NMS and / or Zen OSS)
Access and Review of router for prevention of intrusions
Security test and audit
Required Skills/Experience:
Technical Skills:
o Certifications: SSCP, and/or CCSE (Would be nice, but not required)
o 3 plus years of data Security practices
o Experience with Juniper NetScreen firewalls and Routers
o Experience with Cisco Routers
o Remedy Ticketing System
Conceptual and/or Practical experience with:
o BGP, OSFP and MPLS
o UNIX Linux, Red Hat, Fedora, Perl Scripting
o SawMill Reporting tool that is Perl based
Hardware:
o Juniper Netscreen and/or Arbor System to perform patches and up-grades.
