POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position is to perform Software support (Level 2 / Level 3) in the Professional Services organization. The successful candidate will be able to perform technical problem determination, solution design, solution development, problem and solution documentation, unit testing, system testing, and solution installation tasks for semi-custom workflow software. We are looking for an experienced software developer who is able to understand, fix, and enhance complex software consisting of server, GUI and database components. Technical skills needed include SQL, knowledge of programming languages (C, Java preferred), knowledge of scripting languages (PERL, Kornshell preferred), database management systems (DB2 preferred), server operating systems (AIX preferred) and the ability to learn new languages and systems. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact with clients of varying technical skill levels on complex technical issues. Developer must have strong self-management, organizational, and multitasking skills, as well as possess a positive, cooperative, and dedicated attitude. Flexibility is needed for 24/7 support availability some weeks of each month and rare customer site travel. Candidate must have a demonstrated ability to understand problems and business impact from a client's perspective and then develop solutions quickly and accurately.

Education/Certification:
