ManiaTV Network, the first live and originally produced internet television network, is looking for a talented, energetic copywriter for our in-house marketing department. The copywriter will work closely with key members in the organization to develop a unified brand message across all partner and consumer touch points.



The Copywriter is responsible for all written elements of any given project and must ensure that all messaging is crafted in a manner that defines the brand of the network, resonates with the target audience and effectively communicates the individual show brands. They attend all show kick off meetings and all internal show meetings for assigned projects. They will work closely with design staff on the most effective visual and verbal execution of projects, review current materials and meet with stakeholders to present materials and discuss strategy. They will also work with managers to ensure that creative and strategic directions are met on each project. They will conceive creative ideas, review copy and ensure a project stays on schedule. Finally, they will develop all B2C and B2B sales and marketing copy, ensuring that copy accurately represents and promotes our programming as well as our company mission statement



Responsibilities:



• Writes all Network wide branding copy

• Writes all Show & Show Segment specific branding copy

• Sales collateral & promo videos

• Web content

• Video metadata

• Newsletters & Blogs

• Press Releases

• Special Event collateral and merchandise

• Conceive new creative ideas

• Proofreading

• Interfaces with internal Sales & Marketing team, Production & Design, Webmaster, and Producers



Qualifications:

• Has concepted and written for television, online, print, websites, and everything else in between

• A successful creative writing track record with at least 3 years of experience in either an ad agency or in-house creative department

• Understanding of brands and products, and the ability to articulate them

• The ability to write great headlines and copy for all types of media

• Must be able to juggle multiple assignments and execute campaign oriented work

• Strong attention to detail

• Strong Internet, fact-checking, and research skills

• Strong strategic thinking skills

• The ability to collaborate with art directors, designers, and Brand Managers

• A mature, professional attitude, combined with a desire to have fun

• Love for entertainment, music, & pop-culture is a plus.
