POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a software engineer to do development and support work on IBM zSeries print-related products. Product functions include Networking, Job Management, Printer Management, Database Control, Datastream Transformations, and User Interface. Must work effectively in a team environment, but also be able to carry out tasks independently. Should have some software development experience and be familiar with the stages of software development, from requirements definition and analysis through final test and build.



SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

Required Skills:

- C++ and Object Oriented Programming

- z/OS System Programming Environment

- 370 Assembler Language

- Software Design

- Review of Specifications, Low-level Design, Code, Test Plans, and Publications

- Unit Test




Preferred Skills:

- PL/X or other Procedural, Block-structured Programming

- IPCS and Dump-reading Skills

- z/OS Unix Systems Services




Education/Certification:

Bachelors degree
